Lion tonight, Tiger tomorrow is the varsity basketball team's bill of fare for this weekend. The Crimson will entertain Columbia at 8:30 p.m. tonight after a 6:30 p.m. preliminary between the freshmen and Nichols Junior College. A second Ivy League opponent, touring Princeton, will come into the I.A.B. at 8 p.m. Saturday.

The Crimson will be shooting for its sixth win and first in the Ivy league this season after losing to Brown and Cornell and dropping a non-league tilt to Dartmouth.

In Eastern Intercollegiate Basketball League play, Columbia has lost once to Cornell in overtime, while Princeton has played no league games so far.

No Lineup Change

Coach Norm Shepard plans to start Bill Dennis and Harry Sacks tonight at the forwards, with Bob Bowman jumping at center and Ed Condon and Captain Ed Krinsky playing the guards. This is the same lineup which beat Northeastern on Tuesday night.

Columbia will counter with a tall, fast quintet which includes only one starter from last year. He's George Fickeissen, who teams with sophomore Frank Thomas at the forward posts. Another letterman, Gordon Jerome, plays guard, Center John Leeds and sophomore guard Charlie Brown fill out the first five.

Crimson Long Overdue

By all odds the Crimson is due for a victory over the Lions, which it hasn't had in four years. Against the Tigers it won once in the same span, 71 to 49, at Princeton last year.

Saturday, Captain Phil Zuravieff, for three years one of the outstanding EIBL players, will lead an all-letterman Tiger quintet into town. Zuravleff and John Easton will open at the guards, with Dick Batt at center.
