Ivy League officials contacted recently by the Associated Press have expressed some "dissatisfaction" with NCAA policies, but none would agree that the League would sever connections completely with that body.
After the College announced this week that it would not be bound by the NCAA television code, Princeton President Harold W. Dodds said that to his knowledge there had been no talk of severance.
However, other League sources said the athletic council was displeased with some NCAA post-season championship events, and the failure of the NCAA to regulate scholarship aid to athletes.
One source pointed out that some college presidents did not have much confidence in the NCAA and doubted the ability of the organization to cope with basic problems.
