On the House

Eliot House hockey players, undefeated intramural champions, scored a 4 to 1 victory over Yale's intramural champion, Davenport College, yesterday afternoon at the New Haven Arena. Before the game, both teams possessed identical 9-0-1 records.

Henry Armstrong of Davenport put the Elis ahead by scoring the game's first goal late in the first period. Less than a minute later, Fred Church of Eliot evened the score. Goalie Mike Jackson held the Blue scoreless for the remaining two periods. The Elephants struck once in the second period and twice more in the third, with goals by Hank Romaine, Jim Colt, and Terry King.

Yesterday's entire intramural volleyball schedule was postponed because of last night's Eastern Intercollegiate Swimming meet.
