Eliot and Kirkland swimmers will meet for the Straus Trophy Tuesday afternoon. Although both Houses are still tied for the intramural championship, Eliot has been selected to swim against Yale on Saturday in the Blockhouse.
The All-Star hockey game will be played Tuesday morning. Eliot, the House hockey champion, faces Yale at New Haven on Friday, March 20. Leverett finished second to Eliot in the final season standings. Dunster topped Kirkland 6-2 yesterday in the last hockey game of the season.
Kirkland sends its squash and basketball teams to compete against Yale Saturday at New Haven.
Volley ball competition begins today with Lowell facing Dudley, while Dunster, Leverett, and Adams compete against Kirkland, Winthrop, and Eliot, respectively.
Freshman winners in the finals of Tuesday night's boxing trials include Karl Purnell of Wigglesworth East in the 145 pound class, John Canning of Wigglesworth East at 155 pounds, Al Lubetkin of Holworthy at 165 pounds, and Ed Rosenthal of Matthews South in the unlimited division.
An exhibition match was held between Roy Nakamoto of Straus South, the uncontested 130 pound champion, and Bob Grindell of Straus South, uncontested champion at 135 pounds.
