Hopes for a Wednesday victory over the Boston College hockey team took a somewhat tenuous boost yesterday.
The announcement that three injured Crimson regulars may be able to play was heartening, but no definite commitment on their status was available.
Doug Manchester, who injured a shoulder in the first period of Saturday's losing Brown game, may be ready to go. His loss left the Crimson without a single forward line that had recently played together for any length of time.
Dick Clasby, ill with the flu since, Friday, has left the infirmary, and is the most probable starter. He will boost the first line considerably.
Hard-fighting wing Job Bray may also be on the ice, for the first time in three games. If he plays, a special cast will protect the hand he broke in practice two weeks ago.
The H.A.A. wishes to remind ticket buyers that game time is 7:45 p.m. at the Boston Garden, and that tickets are available here. Only Stadium seats can be bought with coupons, and they must be purchased from the H.A.A.
