Within the next four days the Student Council Committee on Grants-in-Aid will pass out $800 in small sum grants to "needy men."

Chairman F. Harvey Popell announced yesterday that the Grant Committee will interview any applicant "who feels he has a definite need this term for a small sum." Popell said the grants usually run from $15 to $35. The interviews will be held from 2:15 to 5:30 p.m., starting tomorrow and continuing through Friday, in the Student Council Room on the second floor of the Phillips Brooks House.

The grants, "the most practical service the Student Council renders the College," according to chairman Popell, require no academic qualifications. They are usually given to men whose term incomes are not quite sufficient to afford their term bills.
