Cook's Tour

Every two years there is a mass exodus from Cambridge to an organized week-end of fun and games at New Haven. It is customary at this time for us to give some helpful hints to unsuspecting undergraduates and some inspiring words to all others.

To the old grads: This is your day.

To holders of unfortunate tickets: Seats on the ten-yard line are not so bad. You can see each play very well when it is on the ten-yard line at your end. If you crane your neck, you can sometimes see it when it is not there.

To the Yalies: This morning's issue of the News is a parody put out by the CRIMSON.

To those who drive: Take care. The life you save may be your tutor's.

To undergraduates in general: Do not try to pull down the goal posts after the game. They are made of iron and imbedded in concrete. They are also greased.
