Phi Beta Kappa last night elected the Senior Sixteen.

The men, including five from the History department and five from both Eliot and Lowell Houses, are:

Louis Begley, English, of Eliot and Brooklyn; John A. Braeman, History, of Eliot and New York City; Steven C. Frautschi, Physics, of Kirkland and Madison, Wisconsin; Frank I. Goodman, History, of Lowell and San Antonio, Texas; Milton S. Gwirtzman, Government, of Dunster and Rochester, New York; Eliot D. Hawkins, History, of Eliot and New York City.

Others are: David Korn, Biochemical Sciences, of Lowell and Providence; Robert C. Lasch, History, of Lowell and St. Louis, Missouri; David W. Matthews, Economics, of Eliot and Cincinnati; Benjamin Muckenhoupt, Mathematics, of Adams and Newton Highlands; L. Todd Reynolds, Chemistry, of Lowell and Denver; Stephen H. Robinson, Biochemical Sciences, of Winthrop and Brooklyn.

Eight men were chosen for Phi Beta Kappa last spring, and at Commencement time the members will elect more men from the Class of 1954.
