Paul A. Freund, Charles Stebbins Fairchild Professor of Law, will discuss "The Role of the Chief Justice" before an open meeting of the Law School Democratic Club at 4 p.m. today in Harkness Commons.
Freund, constitutional law expert, recently state that although be believed Governor Warren's appointment constitutional, he felt "It's very unfair to Warren to have the President urge him to take the seat without calling a special session."
