State beverage tax agents have quit raiding bawdy, houses because workmen's compensation laws do not cover them during such activity.
David H. Richard, director of the tax division said the decision was reached when agents pointed out state laws do not authentic them to investigate brothels.
If they were injured during a raid, they said, they would not get workmen's compensation. Teledo Blade, January 6
