Flu cases at Harvard are on the decrease despite rising national totals, reports Stillman Infirmary. Of 45 students suffering from flu and serious colds, more than half have been discharged in the last two days. And the Infirmary expected that fewer and fewer cases would be reported.
This follows a general trend around Boston. The State Board of Health said there is no indication that the nation-wide epidemic is serious in the Hub. Massachusetts General Hospital reports no cases of flu have come to the Hospital over the past week.
During exam with minor than 35 students down with minor colds took their tests in bed, while 60 were completely excused from taking exams. But Stillman indicated this is not unusual.
Miss Reta Corgett, Stillman Infirmary superintendent, denied reports that the wave of flu had seriously hit the College.
