Disappearance of over 150 books from the Radcliffe Library last year by violators of the Annex honor system has led to a crack-down on violators by Radcliffe's Administration and Student Government officials, it was announced at the Cedar Hill Conference last weekend.
Penalties up to and possibly including suspension from college for a term will be considered by the Administration and Student Government officers.
Emphasis on observance of Library rules two years ago reduced the numbers of books missing that year, but last year's increase caused the new crackdown, and announcement of penalties which can be awarded for such infringement.
