Funeral services for Dr. Richard H. Miller '05, a former clinical professor of Surgery at the Harvard Medical School will be held at 2 p.m. this afternoon a Kings Chapel. Miller, 67, died Tuesday at his home after a short illness.
Miller practiced medicine in the Boston area, ever since he graduated from the Harvard Medical School in 1910. He was a noted author on surgery and medicine and served as a consultant surgeon for the Massachusetts General Hospital, the Boston Lying-In Hospital, and the Pawtucket. Rhode Island hospital.
During World War I. Miller served as a major and was decorated twice by General Pershing. He also received the Purple Heart for injuries sustained in action.
