A potentially strong freshman lacrosse team will try for its first win today against Mount Herman prep school. Although little information is available as to the strength of their opponents, Coach Bob Pickett said, "My men can win if they play the game they are capable of."
Yesterday the squad held a hard but shortened drill in an altering to make up for the abbreviated practice schedule before the first game. Pickett drilled particularly on shooting and fast break plays.
The probable starting lineup will be: Steve Denhartog got; lie: John Taylor, Tom Wheldon, and Jim Dorsey--attack; Tom Crump, Josh Muss, and Bill Cormack defense. Pete Palches, Tim Anderson, and Ed Brown--first mid-field.
