Summer School Plans Larger International Seminar Program

Forty European and Asian students will be able to participate in the Summer School's International Seminar, the University announced yesterday. Inaugurated last summer, with 20 members, the Seminar is now a permanent part of the Summer School.

The International Seminar was originally initiated to provide cultural opportunities for foreign persons who do not have time for a regular exchange program. The University will pay all expenses for the eight-week session.

William Y. Elliott, Director of the Summer School, and Henry A. Kissinger, Teaching Fellow in Government, organized the Seminar. According to Elliott, it is intended to "contribute to a better understanding of American society by both Europeans and Asians."
