Sollee Leads Fencers In N.C.A.A. Tourney

Crimson fencers fared poorly on the first day of the N.C.A.A.'s Individual and Team Championships which opened yesterday at Yale's Payne Whitney Gym.

At the end of 19 bouts, Captain Eric Sollee in the foil had done the best of the Harvard entries, winning 15 and losing four. Teammates George McNair, with a 12 and seven record in the epee, and Harry Zeil, with ten and nine in the sabre were still in the running.
