Fingers and food are the usual agents which spread food disease, Edwin Warren Moore '29, sanitary inspector of the Department of Hygiene, explained yesterday afternoon in the Union. "Everything else is a matter of transfer by utensils," he said.
Moore spoke on "Germs and Food" to approximately 90 University dining hall employees from the Union, Adams, Harkness Commons, and the Faculty Club. He had talked Monday in Kirkland House to employees from the College Dining Halls, Duster, Cowia, and the Medical School. An earlier address, "Why Have Sanitary Inspection?" was given last week to the same groups.
