Princeton's swimming team will come into the Blockhouse at 3:45 p.m. this evening with the excellent record of six wins and two defeats. If all goes as expected, approximately two hours later it should leave the Blockhouse with the very good record of six wins and three defeats.
Almost automatically the Crimson swimmers have drowned each opponent they've played so far.
The Tigers have downed Columbia, Navy, Rutgers, Temple, Lehigh, and Pennsylvania, and have lost to North Carolina and Dartmouth Harvard defeated Dartmouth.
Top Tiger, and only sure winner for the invaders, is Captain Bob Brawner who holds the world record of 2:91.1 in the 200-yard breaststroke and is both Eastern Intercollegiate and N.C.A.A. champion in the 100. Princeton's best sprinter is John Stone, who tied his college record of 23.5 in the 50-yard free-style a week ago. But both Dave Hedberg and John McNamara of the Crimson have been under that time.
