Peter E. Pratt '40 was appointed yesterday as Executive Secretary of the Harvard Medical Alumni Association.
Pratt, Secretary of the Alumni Association since 1949, will begin his now duties next month, but will continue to serve the University wide office part-time until his successor is named.
As Executive Secretary, Pratt will be responsible for strengthening the ties between the Medical School and its 5,500 alumni scattered throughout the country. This is in line with the Medical School's efforts to keep all alumni informed of developments in policy.
