The play, "Miss Lucy in Town," a fares by Henry Fielding, featured the appearance as tutor to the Prince, of Housemaster John H. Finley, Jr. '25. Miss Lucy, the heroine whose naivete leads to the crucial scence above, was played by Alton Peters '55.
In a second House production scheduled last evening, Winthrop House players hammed their way through a version of Erskine Caldwell's "Tobacco Road" before a large audience in Winthrop Junior Common Room. Although unChristmas-like, to say the least, the production was well received, if guffaws can be used as a basis for judgment.
Jay R. Nosshaum '53 played the male lead, Jeeter. Peter Duns '55 assisted as his wife, and their son was played by Richard A. Levin '55.
