H.D.C. to Produce Senior's One-Act Play This Spring

The Harvard Dramatic Club announced last night that arrangements for presentation of a one act play by Richard B. Kline '53 had been completed and that the production would take place early in March.

Kline, a senior from Cleveland, originally wrote his play for an English course last year and has revised it for H.D.C. production. It is entitled "The Back Page" and is based on Kline's two years of experience as a sportswriter for a Cleveland newspaper. H.D.C. directors termed it a "semi-impressionistic comedy."

Casting will begin early in the new term and actual production is expected to take place in March. Other student plays will be put on later in the year if worthy ones are found, according to the H.D.C.

The Dramatic Club is presently engaged in producing "The Emperor Jones," which will be given free of charge in Sanders Theatre next week.
