The Radcliffe Grant-in-Aid Fund will hold its annual auction at 4:00 p.m. today in the Cabot game room. The Fund auctions off everything left in the Radcliffe dormitories and in Agassiz at the end of the year, including unclaimed bicycles from the basement of Moors.
Main attractions at the auctions are usually the bicycles, which sell for from $2 to $20. Jewelry, scarves, and sweaters are mainstays, and occasionally a pair of skis or a watch can be picked up. Final collections for the auction will be made this afternoon.
Last year the Fund made $125 from the auction. The remainder of its funds comes from "Drumbeats and Song" and alumni contributions. The Grant-in-Aid Fund gives financial help to Radcliffe students who, because of extra-curricular work, are unable to take the time for outside jobs.
