Scrimmage for Lion Game in High Gear

The head-bumping started in earnest on Soldiers Field yesterday as the varsity and J.V. squads went through extensive and rough offense-defense scrimmages.

The varsity attack unit worked out against the jayvees. The Crimson's backfields turned on the power, the speed, and the aerial game, in preparation for Columbia's proven defense.

At the other end of the practice enclosure J.V. coach Norm Shepard sent his men in Columbia T and winged-T plays at the varsity defensive team.
