Skiers Practiced At Putney, Open In Hanover Meet

The Harvard ski team spent the vacation in Putney, Vermont, foregoing a chance at the Lyndonville meet in order to get much needed practice. They worked out under the direction of Coach Graham Taylor from December 27 to the end of the vacation.

The failure to go to Lyndonville does not, as reported yesterday, prevent the team from competing for the Junior Eastern division of the Eastern Inter-Collegiate Skiing Association. Instead, the meet will be held in Lyndonville on February 23. The other meet was informal.

The team also attended a five day skiing school headed by John Hogan, Putney School ski director. They prepared for their next meet, Saturday; the cross-country relays at Hanover.
