Warren C. Giles will become President of the National League October 16 and will establish headquarters in Cincinnati. That was determined yesterday when Giles, president and general manager of the Cincinnati Reds, accepted the invitation of other clubs to take Ford Frick's place.

PAUL REPLACES GILES

Gabe Paul was appointed president of the Cincinnati baseball club of the National League, succeding Warren Giles. He announced the retention of Luke Sewell as manger of the Reds for next year.
