Summer Boom Bursts, Only 1724 Signed Up

Despite present unsettled conditions, the expected jump in Summer School enrollment has not yet materialized, the CRIMSON learned yesterday. Summer School officials, however, expect a substantial jump before the session opens.

Advanced enrollment, as of yesterday, was listed as 1724. This only seven more than the number registered at a corresponding time last year.

In the event the expected increase occurs, Weld, Massachusetts, and Thayer Halls will be opened. The other Yard dormitories and the Houses will be opened as usual.
