Tennis Teams Meet Ephmen

Williams College will field two tennis teams of unknown strength when the varsity and freshmen play at Williams town this afternoon. The Ephmen, however, have field strong squads every since the war.

The varsity singles lineup will remain the same except for the sixth spot. Gerry Murphy will play there instead of Paul Tobias, who will be taking exams. Tobias has won his last five matches, including the only Crimson win over Princeton Saturday.

In the doubles, Murphy and Hugh Nawn will play third instead of Bayard Robb and Dave Watts. Robb and Watts will still play fourth and fifth singles however.

Lineup Changes

The freshmen teams will also have two changes. Don Bossart has replaced John Carollo at fourth singles, dropping Carollo one position. Given Mass will take Herb Stone's place in the first doubles combination along with John Rauh.

Coach Corey Wynn's Yardlings are sporting an undefeated record so far, not counting their unofficial loss to the Harvard graduates Saturday. With six victories already scored, Williams, Dartmouth, M.I.T. and Andover present the only obstacles to a championship season. The Yardligs have already trimmed Deerfield Academy, which trounced the Yale freshmen, 9 to 0.
