Steve Stamatopulos pitched his Lowell House teammates to a 6 to 1 victory over the Dunster hardball nine yesterday. Walks and passed balls accounted for four of the Bellboy tallies in the second inning. Adams beat Leverett 4 to 1 behind twirler Lefty Lawrence.
In softball, the bunnies retaliated as Hutch pitcher Jim Ross administered a 12 to 8 beating to the Goldcoasters. Dave Bloom hit a homer with two on in the fifth for Leverett. The Funsters waloped Lowell, 17 to 7 in the same league.
Krikland's tennis team edged a Bunny squad, 4 to 3. Adams led Winthrop, 3 to 2, at the end of yesterday's net encounter with two matches to be played off today.
At the gold links, Dudley forfeited a 5 to 0 decision to the Bunnies. A Deacon team outscored the Bellboys, 4 to 1. The Funsters beat the Gold Coasters in a close match, 3 to 2, when George Briggs sank a 40 foot putt on the 18th green. Eliot defeated Winthrop, 5 to 0.
