Radcliffe Radio, News Ask to Leave Council

Radio Radcliffe and the Radcliffe News still present petitions tonight to eliminate their voting power on the 'Cliffe Student Council.

Mary Kable '53, editor-in-chief of the News, gave as a cause of a feeling among the students that the two groups are "controlled either by the administration or by Student Government." She added that, "Often, when we (the News) have had to vote on a measure, we cannot be unbiased in reporting it."

The Student Council executive board will discuss the petitions at a meeting tonight at Moors Hall. A majority vote at a least half the student body is seeded, however, to remove the two groups form Council positions.
