The Dunster Dunces have made recordings of fourteen of the more popular songs in their repertoire on the Trans-Radio label, Charles S. LaFollette '51, director of the group disclosed last night.
The single ten inch L.P. record includes such numbers as: "I Get Along Without You," "Never Throw a Lighted Lamp at Mother," "Oh Fred," "Tell Them to Stop!," "Wedding Bells," and "It's the Talk of the Town." The records, now on sale at local record stores, were financed by the Dunces from past performances.
The Dunces are the first College chartered informal singing group and have taken tours through the Ivy League circuit and nearby women's colleges. They first began their activities in 1946. Recently, the Dunces have sung at various dances and social affairs at Harvard.
The group of 15 voices recorded in early February.
