Ferre Wants Religion Taught in All Colleges

Religious education ought to be part of every college curriculum, Nels F. S. Ferre, Professor of Philosophical Theology at Vanderbilt, said last night.

In the last of a series of talks on "Meaning and Chaos" in Memorial Chapel he explained that religion can be used to break down barriers and establish communication among individuals.

Ferre decried the current scholastic trend toward objectivity in education, which he said has made religion merely. Another department of study, when it should be all-inclusive.
