Freshmen elected their ten freshman Jubilee Committeemen in heavy balloting yesterday.

Election committee chairman Chris Fearon '53 described the campaigning as conducted "in very good taste," although candidates were temporarily hampered by vandals who twice stripped the Union of all campaign signs.

Newly-elected Jubilee Committeemen are, left to right, seated: ALAN DOFT of Lawrence, New York, and Thayer; REID BLODGETT MORRISON of Waban, and Lionel; GORDON CHASE of Worcester, and Straus; ANTONY LOTHAR JULIAN HERRY of Flushing, New York, and Straus.
