Harvard's fencers will meet a strong Army aggregation today at West Point.
Coach Rene Peroy's team is in good shape for this match, having beaten Boston University, 24 to 3, and Wesleyan, 16 to 11, in its first two contests. Army has always posed a strong threat in the past--the cadets won last year's close match.
The Yardling fencers will also take on West Point's freshmen today. The '54 squad likewise had little trouble overcoming B.U. in its opening match, 19 to 8.
Captain Win Overholser will lead the team, himself, competing in the epee event. He has won both of his duels this year.
In the team's debut against B.U., the Terriers did not win a single individual contest, although Wesleyan had better luck against the swordsmen.
