'Cliffe Kills Hockey; Simmons Is 'Sorry'

The Radcliffe undergraduate weekly newspaper yesterday withdrew its challenge to meet the CRIMSON eleven in a field hockey game which had been scheduled for Thursday.

Organization president Diana Crane '52 revealed last night that the girls had backed out because the Administration had told her that "It was too dangerous for the girls," and had refused to issue them equipment.

CRIMSON president William M. Simmons '52 expressed sorrow when informed of the decision. "I'm sorry," he said.
