Yard Booters Tackle Brown

Spirit and condition may make the difference when the Yardling soccer team meets the Brown yearlings in Providence at 2:30 p.m. today. Charging that since the M.I.T. game the freshmen have "lost their spirit, and are out of condition," Crimson coach Andrew "Poley" Guyda dolefully predicted that "I wouldn't be surprised if we get beaten."

The freshmen have been lax in attending practice lately, and have been scrimmaging lethargically. With just over a week left till the Yale game, Guyda said be would start practice promptly at 3:15 each to try to get the team back in shape.

Brown has a very rough team, sparked by strong insides and pretty skillful halfbacks. The freshmen will probably not duplicate last year's 2 to 0 shutout in trying to improve their three win, two loss record.
