Law School Dormitory Group Selects Officers

Seymour Levine 3L was named president of the Law School Dormitory Council in elections this week. Stanley Rothenberg 2L was chosen as vice-president, with Russell R. Pearson '47 3L winning the treasurership and Frederick D. Herberich '47 3L the post of secretary.

Vice Dean Livingston Hall and Assistant Dean Wesley E. Bevins, Jr., spoke at the first meeting at which the duties of the group were outlined. The council will hold its next meeting on Tuesday.

Last year the most interesting controversy over dorm regulations concerned the parietal rule under which girls had to be entertained in pairs. This regulation darkened the opening days of the new Graduate Center, but student out-cry forced the rule to be dropped.
