The Junior varsity football team will take on the Dartmouth jayvees at 2 p.m. today at Soldiers Field with memories of last year's game providing a strong revengeful atmosphere. Last year the Big Green's jayvees beat the stuffing out of the Crimson, 38 to 0, and had an easy time doing it.
So far this year the Crimson has lost two games and won none. Dartmouth has not yet played a single game, and so jayvee coach Norm Shepard knows very little indeed about this afternoon's opponent. "They should be good," he says though, "because they always have a lot of boys out."
Hickey Will Go
Shepard will use his regular offensive team with the exception of Bill Hickey who will play at left end for the injured Pete Brooke. Tackles will be Leo McGrath and Captain Stan Miller, guards Chip Chandler and Fred Horween, center Pete Cook, and right end Fred Heller.
Bob Gremp will run the Crimson's T-formation offense from quarterback, with Howie Finney and Ronnie Messer as the halfbacks, and Ronnie Noonan, the fullback.
Also expected to play a lot are backs Lou Tsavaris, Dick Scheer, Brint Donalson, and Bill Van Epps. Linemen Sid Kane, Boylston Hinds, and John Semmel Meyer will also see much action.
