Harvard and Radcliffe commuters decided Monday to give an original musical show about a proper New England girl, her bashful boyfriend, and her burlesque queen sister who lends a hand.
Representatives from Agassiz and Dudley, at a meeting in Agassiz, formed committees and set the production date for December. Loretta Valtz '52 wrote the show, and Harry Flynn '52 composed the music.
Although Harvard commuters are signing up individually, the Dudley committee will consider lending financial aid. So far, fifty Dudley men have volunteered to help out with the production.
Tryouts will probably be held next week.
Miss Valtz is a past president and founder of the Radcliffe Playwrights Club. This is her first attempt at musical comedy, but a previous play dealing with an Italian race car driver was received very well in last year's contest.
