Fifty to a hundred experts on econometrics, the application of mathematics to economic theory, will join the international convention of Mathematicians here in August.
The econometrics society, usually has summer meetings of its own but this year decided to hold its convention in conjunction with the larger math conference in order to make possible greater exchange of information.
