Radcliffe's PBK Installs Members

"In the universe a man is only as large proportionally as the tiniest atom in his own body," Donald Hatch Andrews, professor of chemistry at Johns Hopkins University, said Monday night at the Radcliffe chapter of Phi Beta Kappa's spring installation of new members.

Hatch stated that just as the atoms in a man's body are organized in a definite pattern, so the universe blends many forces harmoniously into a patterned whole, and cannot be infinite.

Guests of honor were the undergraduates elected to membership in the past year. Representatives from all four classes who were considered to show exceptionally high scholastic promise were also Phi Beta Kappa's guests at the meeting.
