William F. "Blackie" DeRosa and a 14-man jury will visit the Massachusetts Avenue Shea's Dry Cleaning store today, as the jury prepares to begin hearings in DeRosa's trial for the mid-winter murder of Henry P. Shea, retired owner of the cleansing establishment.
DeRosa, formerly employed as a janitor at "Sudden Service" Shea's, is accused of bludgeoning the elderly man to death in connection with the robbery of $3793.
J. Richard Pitman, a Somerville clerk, was yesterday chosen as foreman of the jury which will hear the case in Middle sex Superior Court.
DeRosa was arrested in Keene, New Hampshire a few days after the killing took place. Shea was brutally beaten to death on a Sunday morning when he unexpectedly decided to visit the shop.
