Braving snow flurries, Crimson skippers scored 63 points to finish third in the season's first pentagonal regatta at Providence Saturday.
Northeastern's dinghies scored 72 points, edging out Brown in five races for the victory. Worcester Tech was fourth with 36 points and Boston University was last with 32.
Individual scoring honors went to Glen Foster of Brown and Don McGregor of Northeastern, who tallied 43 points apeice. Foster won two races to McGregor's one.
Nine boats sailed in the regatta.
