Appointments to the undergraduate committee arranging for Radcliffe's March 10 performance of "Drumbeats and Song" were announced last night by general chairman Sylvia Rice '50.
Chairmen include Cynthia Sweeney '50, in charge of programming; Georgianne Davis '51, publicity; Jean O'Brien '51, tickets; Marcia Hildreth '50, dance; Mia Atherton '51, ushers; Helen Bernstein '51, snack bar; Cynthia Williams '51, snack bar tenders; Gloria Wagstaff '52, program editor; Mary Kay Jensen '51, patroness lists; and Martha McCabe '53, flowers.
Band Will Play
The hour and a half program of "Drumbeats and Song" will got under way at 3:15 p.m. March 10 in Sanders Theatre with selections by the Harvard Band. Both Harvard and Redcliffe entertainers will fill in the interim part of the show, and band numbers will also wind up the program.
This is the first time that an undergraduate committee has taken over the one night performance of "Drumbeats." During the past two years the event has been given by the Radcliffe Alumnae Association to benefit the college's 70th anniversary fund.
Proceeds from the coming production will go toward the Student Government "Grant-in-Aid," originated last term by the Radcliffe Student Council to help students in need of small grants of money. "Drumbeats," Rice said, will be the only major undertaking of the year to raise money for the fund.
