The fight between Cronin's and the Catholic Club over who will occupy the old Pediatric Center on Mount Auburn Street has ended with Cahaly's Delicatessen and a florist taking over.

Michael Cahaly, who has been around the Square for over 27 years, will move in early in January. Rising rent at his present location, the corner of Mount Auburn and Boylston Strees, has caused the move. Cahaly will also open a store nearer to the Business School.

Cronin abandoned his original plans for breaking through the walls of the present dining room and establishing a smaller room for private functions because the Pediatric Center location is too small. Prohibitive rent caused the Catholic Club to abandon plans to use the location between Dunster and Holyoke Streets as a meeting place.
