Robert T. Hennes '51 went to the library for the first time this term on Tuesday night.
With hour exams on hand this is not really such an unusual occasion, but several of Hennes' friends, impressed by the studiousness of their colleague, decided to honor him.
When Hennes returned from his safari to the shelves, he noticed newspapers in his room. These were crumpled and in some cases piled in such a manner that they reached the Kirkland House ceiling. Conservative estimates placed the job at a minimum requirement of 15 man hours.
Hennes, normally a very mild-mannered person, was deeply touched by the deed of his friends. When asked for comment last night, he said only one word.
