"Deacon's Testament," the traditional yearbook of Kirkland House, May the this year if House men fall to support the book, editor William H. Mogan '52 revealed yesterday.
The Testament has had a financial trouble ever since its inception in 1935, but Kirkland men have always contributed enough to insure its continuance. Last year, Robert Shoemaker '43, an alumnus of the House, printed the Testament for nothing in his Anderson, Indiana, shop.
Now, according to Morgan, the pinch is tighter than over. Though Shoemaker has again agreed to print the annual, House men must subscribe $250 before production can start. The book will then be distributed in the spring, at a price of $1.
