Carroll Lowenstein was named to the Ivy League second team all-star eleven yesterday, while Princeton's Ivy League champions placed four men in the first team. The all-stars were selected for the Associated Press by coaches, officials, and newsmen. Only Harvard and Brown failed to place a man on the first team.
Princeton's first team players were halfback Dick Kazmaier, quarterback George Chandler, tackle Holland Donan and center Redmond Finney. From the Penn team, which could have tied Princeton for the championship last Saturday had it not lost to Cornell, halfbacks Reds Bagnell, end Herb Agocs, and guard Bernard Lemonick were chosen.
The remainder of the team was made up of end Herb McLean, Columbia; tackle Bill Monahan, Dartmouth; guard John Plerik, Cornell; and fullback Robert Spears, Yale.
Filling out the second team backfield were Jeff Fleischmann, Cornell; Bill Roberts, Dartmouth; and Jack Davison, Princeton.
