Playing its last and best game this fall, the rugby team tied a heavily-favored McGill of Montreal yesterday on Soldiers Field. The score was 6 to 6.

John Cotter, starting at scrum-half, produced the Crimson scoring with a pair of penalty goals. He got his first early in the game to give the ruggers a 3 to 0 lead at the half; McGill then picked up two penalty goals in the second half to take the lead.

Crimson Rallies

In the last four minutes of the game the Crimson came back strong against the Canadians, with the locals' scrum clearly superior. McGill incurred another penalty with one minute to go, and Cotter banged in a difficult angle kick as the game ended.

The ruggers lost a man through injury during the game, and played out the contest with only 14 men. It was the Rugby Club's third tie this season.
