There will be a football rally Friday night.
Roger L. Butler '51 announced the decision of the cheerleaders last night, and further revealed that the Band has agreed to play at the gathering.
However, head coach Lloyd P. Jordan, on behalf of himself and his sides, regretfully declined the invitation to appear. Jordan, who had attended the first three rallies of the 1950 season, stated in refusing to appear "I want to break this jinx."
Strong Showing
No rally is usually scheduled for the Brown game, but Butler stated that the strong showing which the team made at Princeton and the good chance which it had against Brown caused the cheerleaders to change their minds.
The rally parade will start from University Hall and end in front of the Blockhouse, where the crowd will be addressed by the cheerleaders and several unannounced varsity football players.
