Four grants of approximately $1,820 each remain available to Americans to be used for study in England under terms of the Charles and Julia Henry Fund, trustees for the fund have announced.
The Henry fellowships may be used for study at either Cambridge or Oxford University. Applicants must be unmarried American citizens, with preference given to those who have received bachelor degrees since June, 1946 or expect to receive degrees by June, 1951.
Apply by January
Candidates for fellowships must submit applications on or before January 15, 1951; to the Office of the Secretary to the Corporation of Harvard University or to the Office of the Secretary of Yale University.
A definite scheme of study or research to be carried out at Oxford or Cambridge must be submitted by applicants. The applications will be judged by an American Committee of Management and must meet the approval of the British University where the Fellow is assigned.
